The start of a project...
A couple years ago I bought this 69 Mustang coupe. It has been living over at my mom's house since I bought it. My mom moved to Texas and was selling her house, so I got finally had the car moved over to my place.
The car has a factory 302 V8 with a 2 barrel carb, power steering, no a/c, manual drum brakes and a 2.79 rear end. It was born on November 22, 1968 in Dearborn, Michigan. The engine was born 1 week earlier, November 15, 1968, so I'm fairly certain it has the original engine. The car was delivered to a dealer in Omaha, Nebraska for the original sale. The car had been sitting in a barn since 1989 until I got it.
The car's factory color is Candyapple Red (now nicely oxidized), with a standard maroon interior. As with most cars that lived in the northern states, it has some rust. The floors and front torque boxes are shot and the inner fender wells have a fair amount of rust. There is also some other rust here and there (wheelhouses and the like).
My plans for this car is to restomod it (restore and modify). Check back and I'll occasionally post updates to the progress.
